Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, as a means to affect positive change in the community, works hand in hand with several charitable organizations including homeless shelters, food programs and world-wide outreach programs.

Mt. Cross
The mission of Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of Northern California is to provide opportunities for people to grow personally and spiritually through Jesus Christ in an outdoor setting that encourages hospitality and community.

Heifer International
Heifer animals (and training in their care) offer hungry families around the world a way to feed themselves and become self-reliant. Children receive nutritious milk or eggs; families earn income for school, health care and better housing; communities go beyond meeting immediate needs to fulfilling dreams. Farmers learn sustainable, environmentally sound agricultural techniques.

Safe Harbour Shelter
Samaritan House now provides shelter year-round. Our clients receive dinner, breakfast, shower facilities and personal hygiene kits during their stay. While at the shelter, they may take classes in resume writing, attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and/or sign up for job referral services. Transportation to and from Safe Harbor is provided.
