Studying piano and flute as a child, Jeanette Cool furthered her studies at the University of Kansas, receiving Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Theory. Through her love of music, Ms. Cool was introduced to that of other cultures leading her to investigate music and dance styles from the Arab world. As General Manager for Amorfia Productions, a company co-founded with her violinist husband, Georges Lammam, she has sponsored instructional seminars in Middle Eastern dance and produces educational materials and seminars for studies in Arabic music and dance.
In 1995, Ms. Cool was called to music ministry at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church beginning her service on the 1st Sunday in Advent. Her love of music has been developed and enhanced by retreats and workshops with masters of sacred music and by working and creating within a warm and loving congregation.
